Gather
An autumn afternoon that rolls into evening, with yoga, food and connection

An afternoon to slow down, eat well, and meet your people
Gather is made for women who want to switch off and meet kindred spirits. When your week has been all give and no take, this is your permission to stop: a proper reset, a treat, and a chance to connect, because making real friends as a grown up is hard. We roll out our mats as the October evening draws in, then head to the Lido for dinner. No pressure, no cliques, no experience needed. Come on your own or bring a friend. And because we start early and finish by eight, you'll be home, tucked up and in bed by ten, which is its own kind of luxury.
How it all flows

First, we soften
We open at Yoganand Studio, all warm brick and low light, which is exactly where you want to be on a cold October afternoon. Katie leads a full hour of gentle flow, unhurried and easy on the body, then Sharon takes over for a 45 minute deeply nurturing restorative practice, designed to help you soften the edges of your day. We finish with a dreamy Yoga Nidra, that delicious space between waking and sleeping, a little like being tucked into bed in the afternoon. All levels welcome, everything provided.

Then, we eat
We head to Bristol Lido for a relaxed dinner, poolside in one of the loveliest rooms in the city, with the steam rising off the pool and the autumn chill outside. You'll choose two courses from a beautiful seasonal menu, at the kind of long table where conversation flows easily.

Throughout, we connect
The whole reason we started Gather. Real conversation with women on the same wavelength, and the space to properly talk. The kind of evening you leave already planning the next one.
The timings in full
You'll fit right in
Coming on your own?
Perfect, most women do. Gather is made for meeting like-minded women, so you will never feel like the odd one out. You'll be looked after from the moment you arrive.
New to yoga?
Also perfect. Both classes are welcoming, with options throughout, so you can take it as gently as you like. No bendy party tricks required, promise.
Bringing a friend?
Go on then. Gather is even lovelier shared. Grab a mate, make a proper afternoon of it, and let us do the rest.
Meet your hosts

Katie
Founder of Zenaa
Katie is the founder of Zenaa and has been teaching yoga and hosting retreats for years. At Gather Bristol she leads the opening hour of gentle flow, easing you out of the week and into the evening. She lives for the moment a room of strangers turns into a room of friends, which is really what Gather is all about.

Sharon Jackson
Yoga teacher & co-host
Sharon has taught yoga for several years, with a style that fuses hatha and functional movement and a little funkiness for good measure. At Gather she leads the restorative practice and the closing Yoga Nidra, weaving in creativity, curiosity and breathwork, and using props so you can properly settle. Expect a feel-good class that leaves you with your inner smile.
A few things you might be wondering
Who comes to Gather?+
Gather is women who want to slow down and meet like-minded women. Come on your own or with a friend, all levels welcome. It's a warm, easy crowd, and everyone arrives wanting the same thing: to switch off and connect.
How many people come?+
Gather is intentionally intimate and limited to just fourteen places. It keeps things relaxed and personal, and means you will actually get to know the women around the table. Because places are so limited, they tend to go quickly.
What's included in the £89?+
Your ticket covers nearly two hours on the mat (an hour of gentle flow with Katie, then 45 minutes of restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra with Sharon), all mats and props, and a two course dinner at Bristol Lido with a soft drink included. There is a vegetarian option in every course, and we'll ask about any dietary requirements once you've booked. Alcohol is available to purchase separately on the night.
Do I need to be good at yoga?+
Not at all, and this one is deliberately gentle. You'll move through an unhurried flow, then settle into restorative yoga and a dreamy Yoga Nidra, with modifications offered throughout. Whether it's your first ever class or your five hundredth, you'll feel right at home.
Can I come by myself?+
Absolutely, and loads of people do. Gather is designed to be an easy, friendly way to meet people, so coming solo is completely normal here. You'll be welcomed from the moment you arrive.
Where does it all happen?+
The yoga is at Yoganand Studio on Queens Road in Clifton, and dinner follows at Bristol Lido on Oakfield Place, a short walk away. The whole thing runs from 3:30pm to 8pm. We'll send full details once you've booked.
What should I wear and bring?+
Comfy clothes you can move in for the yoga, and a layer for the little walk to dinner. Everything you need for the practice is provided. Just bring yourself and an appetite.
