Where warm ocean breezes and cobbled streets meet, where golden days unfold slowly; it's your turn to be taken care of.
Late September in the Algarve: the sea at its warmest after a long summer, the light soft and golden, and the holiday crowds gone home.
Picture this: sunlight warming your skin as you cross the dappled terrace to your mat, for a dynamic yoga practice. The day opens gently before you, with time for meditation, journalling, or a scenic hike. Afternoons drift by poolside, beside the lake watching wildlife, indulging in a full body massage, or wandering the cobbled streets of Tavira. As evening falls, gentle yoga relaxes the body and mind before a beautiful alfresco dinner, surrounded by friends, old and new.
This autumn retreat is co-delivered by Katie and Kara, and Kara brings her own specialist workshops to the week, including a deeply restful Yoga Nidra.

Yes. Late September into early October is one of the loveliest times in the Algarve. The sea is at its warmest after the summer, the days are sunny but gentler, and the summer crowds have gone, so the beaches and Tavira's cobbled streets feel calm again.
Most meals are prepared by our private chef using fresh, seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients. Meals are eaten al fresco where the weather allows, and the food is consistently mentioned by guests as a highlight: wholesome, beautifully presented, and always with dessert. Dietary requirements are easily accommodated. There are a couple of meals that we will eat whilst on trips out to experience the local hospitality.
The nearest airport is Faro (FAO), around 30 minutes from the venue by car, with direct flights from Bristol, Gatwick and Heathrow. Flights are not included in the retreat price, and airport transfers can be booked for an additional fee. Our suggested flights will be announced in November 2026.
Yes. Many Portugal guests describe it as their first-ever yoga retreat. The pace is gentle, the venue is welcoming, and the yoga is taught at all levels with modifications throughout. Guest reviews consistently note that Zenaa is "accessible and carefully orchestrated", a good place to start.
