Greece Wellness Retreat Wed 6th - Mon 11th October 2027 • From £1,699pp

Our most luxurious retreat yet. Where the villa meets the sea and the days slow to the rhythm of the waves; it's your turn to be taken care of.

October on Zakynthos: the sea still warm from summer, the light soft and golden, the crowds long gone.

Wake to the sound of the sea and practise yoga on the terrace with nothing but blue ahead. Days drift between the infinity pool, a long swim and a good book, with Zakynthos Town just a 20 minute walk away for an evening by the harbour. Gentle yoga at dusk, then dinner together with friends old and new.

Want a little extra? Add a boat trip around the island, a visit to a local olive oil press, or a massage at the villa.

About the Island

Zakynthos, Flower of the East

The Venetians called it the flower of the East, and it's easy to see why. Zakynthos is one of Greece's greenest islands: a patchwork of olive groves, orchards and wild flowers, ringed by white cliffs, hidden coves and water in every shade of blue. Breathe in the warm Mediterranean air and you'll catch the scent of fruit trees and wild herbs wherever you wander.

Swim in the famous Blue Caves, gaze down on Navagio, one of the most photographed beaches in Greece, or simply watch the sun sink into the Ionian Sea. The island is one of the last refuges of the loggerhead sea turtle and the rare Mediterranean monk seal, and with a little luck you might spot turtles gliding through the shallows or dolphins out in the bay.

Back on land, Zakynthos Town still wears its Venetian heritage in its elegant squares and harbour front, where music drifts out of the tavernas as evening falls. It's an island where nature still leads and time moves a little more slowly. Exactly the pace we like.

THE GUEST EXPERIENCE

Kind Words

The food has been an absolute delight throughout

Highly recommend this superbly organised yoga retreat in Portugal! It’s relaxed, convivial and you can dip in and out as you wish. The food has been an absolute delight throughout, the company and yoga and relaxation sessions, led by Katie and Kara, even better. Altanure Casa Terra and Quinta are suberbly appointed for this type of retreat - and a beautiful setting. Feel very fortunate to have experienced it. Thank you 🙏🏼

One of the best holidays I have ever been on

I have just returned from a Zenaa Retreat in Portugal and must say that it was one of the best holidays I have ever been on. The venue is stunning with gorgeous living accommodation, three swimming pools, beautiful grounds and a light and airy studio. The food was not only healthy, it tasted delicious! The daily yoga sessions were excellent. The addition of meditation, yoga nidra and journalling workshops made the whole experience truly relaxing.

It’s the ultimate self care!!

Portugal was the second retreat I’ve been to with Katie, I intend to go to at least one a year. Wholeheartedly recommend!! Amazing attention to detail- venue, yoga, food, activities- all arranged with such care. I feel looked after, rested, worked and stretched and relaxed, it’s the ultimate self care!!

Truly a five star experience

The Portugal Retreat at Casa Terra was sublime. Katie is a talented, warm and generous curator of experience. The house, set in a beautiful landscape, was spacious, welcoming and hugely relaxing. The yoga shala, surrounded by greenery, the sound of birdsong, and blue sky was the perfect place to centre ourselves and do some deep body work. And the food, the food!! Chef Miia created every meal to perfection. And if all that wasn't enough, there was also a natural pond for swimming and a day at the beach. Truly a five star experience - highly recommended. Thank you for all your hard work Katie - we were all nourished and delighted by the experience.

The perfect place for R&R

My first residential yoga/wellness retreat ever and what a beautiful setting for it. Casa Terra (Portugal Retreat) was the perfect place for some much needed R&R with great food, great weather and lovely company. The yoga punctuations were a bit much for my current level of fitness, but I was able to pace myself and adapt without judgement. Zenaa is a good place to start if you are new to this as it’s accessible and carefully orchestrated.
